MECHANICAL SUPERVISOR - MEP CONTRACTOR - CORK

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Our Client is currently recruiting for a Mechanical Supervisor to join
our Projects Division on a full time, permanent contract of
employment. The successful applicant will be predominantly based in
the Munster Region, with a particular emphasis on the Cork and
Limerick areas. 

Supervise and coordinate the activities of the clients personnel and
subcontractors 

Plan and oversee the work timeline to meet the requirements of the
project

Take responsibility for health and safety on site and lead by example

Co-ordinate labour, plant, machinery and materials

Supervise site activity

Identify materials and equipment that may be required

Ensure that works are carried out accurately, following the plans and
specifications

Conduct quality control inspections 

Oversee the co-ordination of subcontractor activities 

Ensure that tasks are completed on time and meet our exceptional
quality standards

Analyse and quickly resolve any work problems that may arise and
ensure that all deficiencies on any given project are corrected in a
timely manner

Assist with the training of apprentices 

Maintain detailed and accurate site reports

Communicate project progress to our key stakeholders and the client

Ensure that the site/s are compliant with the relevant ISO standards

Other ad hoc duties as assigned by site management

Support the Project Manager in promoting a culture of excellent
customer service and establishing exceptional working relationships
with your colleagues and the client/s

Act as a brand ambassador and lead the Company through its ongoing
expansion

Any other duties as deemed necessary for the efficiency of the
business

JOB REQUIREMENTS

QQI Level 6 Advanced Certificate (or equivalent) – in Plumbing or
Pipefitting 

A minimum of 5 years’ experience in a fast paced commercial
environment

Knowledge of construction documentation with the ability to interpret
site drawings 

Highly proficient in Microsoft Office, with a particular emphasis on
Excel 

Conscientious with a high attention to detail and an ability to
multitask

Motivated self-starter, who can work both independently or as part of
a team 

Capable of prioritising tasks whilst possessing the ability to work
under pressure

Exceptional time management skills with the ability to meet strict
deadlines 

Excellent communication skills, with fluent English 

PACKAGE

€ *K to € *k salary
negotiable depending on level of experience.

Full time permanent position based in Ireland.
